Protecting your personal data is important to us. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, for what purposes and on what legal basis we process it.

The app is hosted and operated on the Lovable Cloud platform. Database, authentication and file storage for uploaded audio files are handled by the Lovable Cloud infrastructure. Technical data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps may be processed as part of server communication.

The app processes the following data:

• Account data: Email address, password (as a hash), optional display name and profile information when signing in with Google.
• Usage data: Playlists you create, tracks they contain, title/artist information and saved volume settings per song.
• Uploads: Audio files you upload (MP3/WAV), stored exclusively in your private storage area and accessible only to you.
• Billing data: Premium subscriptions process order and contract data; payment details themselves remain with PayPal.
• Technical data: Device type, browser language and preferred app language (stored locally in the browser).

Your data is processed to fulfill the service contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR), to protect legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) such as security and stability of the app, and – where necessary – with your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), for example when connecting Spotify.

Data is shared with third parties only to the extent necessary to operate the app:

• Lovable Cloud: hosting, database and authentication.
• Spotify: when connected, song metadata is retrieved via the Spotify API. Your Spotify login credentials remain with Spotify.
• PayPal: processing payment transactions for Premium subscriptions.
• Google: providing the optional sign-in feature via Google OAuth.

Personal data is stored only as long as required for the relevant purposes. Account and usage data are kept while your account exists. Uploaded files can be deleted by you at any time. After account deletion, associated data is removed promptly unless legal retention obligations require otherwise.

The app uses local browser storage to remember your language preference (English/German) and your sign-in session. This data remains on your device and can be deleted by you at any time through your browser settings.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), row-level security (RLS) for your private uploads and secure authentication. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise your rights, please use the contact details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
